Pyramid Wall System

The Pyramid Wall System is up to 2.5 times more efficient than current solar panel designs. This is achieved through a patented inverse pyramid structure rather than standard flat panels. As a result, pyramid solar arrays have a smaller footprint and can be implemented into technologies and projects where space is at a premium.

The Pyramid Wall System has these key benefits:

  • wallicon Compact and mobile
  • wallicon Highly robust, adaptable, and lightweight
  • wallicon Feasible in restrictive spaces such as urban and commercial zones
  • wallicon Rapid and cost-efficient production, using cutting edge manufacturing techniques
  • wallicon Ideal for multipurpose installations and applications
  • wallicon Uses smart algorithms to optimize use of power and power generation
  • wallicon Cells can generate power in nearly any environment, even low level lighting, and can store energy at peak times to use later in the day

Solar Street Lighting

4D Vision’s Solar Street Light project, incorporates the Pyramid Wall System to provide solar street lights with up to 2.5 times the power generation capacity of any other system.

This enhanced power generation is supported by an integrated battery system, capable of maintaining full lighting for more than a week without sun.

The lights can be scheduled, or set to monitor local light levels and activate when required. They even generate power in low light conditions.

As a result, 4D Vision streetlights typically generate a large excess of power. This means they can support a range of additional technologies.

The current prototype includes a landing pad for drones, allowing them to safely land on the streetlights for charging and storage. When not in use, drones are enclosed to protect them from the elements. The inclusion of drone support in public structures is vital for the widespread adoption of drone technology in delivery, surveillance and other important services.

Because of the capabilities and promise of our technology, 4D Vision Light is proud to have joined forces with Conflow in a Joint Venture agreement. This will advance our technologies for the next generation of smart Solar Street Lights for customers worldwide.

Other Applications

4D Vision is staged to make a significant worldwide impact in the solar industry. Our patented designs have the following applications:

application
Solar Farms

4D Vision’s patented Pyramid Wall System is expected to provide a minimum 4 to 1 reduction in required acreage compared to existing flat panel installations (e.g. a 1MW solar farm requiring 4 acres will require 1 acre with 4D Visions technology).

application
Sound Barriers

The United States has over 2,600 miles of noise barriers, and demand for outdoor sound barriers grows every year. The Pyramid Wall System turns these into sources of revenue and green power, instead of a drain on construction and maintenance budgets. Other solar technologies are too large, inefficient or delicate for feasible use in these scenarios.

application
Rooftop Arrays

Rooftop solar arrays, particularly in dense urban centers, can take decades to pay for themselves due to the limited available surface area. The more efficient and compact inverse pyramid design makes solar installation more cost-effective. Additionally, the inverse pyramid design produces less sun glare than planar arrays, which can be an obstacle to adapting solar in urban areas.

application
Mobile Arrays

The reduced space requirements for significant power generation mean the Pyramid Wall System opens up a wealth of opportunities for mobile or portable solar arrays. This can enable remote or off-grid locations, or outdoor events, to make viable use of solar power instead of fossil fuel generators.
